Canal at Uppermill
This montage/panorama, which covers approximately 150º, was made using digital photographs taken from one spot on the canal towpath in Uppermill (the Museum is in the background towards the left-hand side). They were shot in January 2003 at a time when the canal was frozen over and the ducks were skidding about on the ice. The sun was fairly low, as it was late afternoon, and the light was beginning to fail along the towpath but its brittle quality appealed to me. The images were assembled in the computer, given a drop shadow and then flattened. Another drop shadow was then added.
