Frank Ramsbottom, 11644, 4th Platoon, 'A' Company, 19th Battalion, Manchester Regiment,
He was the brother of Walter Ramsbottom (11643) and Fred Ramsbottom.
They were the sons of Fred and Sarah Ramsbottom of Failsworth.

Frank and Walter were in the same battalion and were killed within days of each other.
They are remembered, together,on the Thiepval Memorial in France.

Frank was killed in action, 9th July 1916 : CWGC

Walter was killed in action, 23rd July, 1916. CWGC

Both are included in 'Failsworth Wesleyan Church & School Roll of Honour' :
