Hi, I'm Sheila Goodyear and on my website
you'll find a selection of pictures that have been assembled over
the past 4 years. All the pictures in the first seven galleries
are derived from scanned 35mm negatives, or from digital files
from my 'little' digital camera. These were then all manipulated
to a greater or lesser degree.
In
early 2004 I bought a Canon 300D digital SLR and most of my subsequent
pictures have been made using images captured with this camera.
I am an enthusiastic photographer and picture-maker
but not particularly interested in the mechanics of the process!
My aim is to produce images that reflect my thoughts and impressions
rather than the reality of the subject. I make them for my own
enjoyment but if someone else appreciates them then that is a
bonus.
I have had a great deal of pleasure in making
them and I hope that you enjoy looking at them.
