CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTION IN WW1

T. Broadbent

Nothing has been found in the newspapers about a T. Broadbent.

He has an entry on the Pearce List HERE .
The Pearce List of over 17500 WW1 Conscientious Objectors can be found on the Imperial War Museum's website HERE

His civilian job was a blast furnace worker and he accepted work of national importance in the same job.

Ill health caused him to give up that work and on 15 August 1918 he started work as a crane driver for the same firm.

He was a Christadelphian.
