CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTION IN WW1

*Pearce List says he is of 600 Huddersfield Road, Waterhead, Oldham, a cotton spinner aged 32 years in 1917.
The List says He was exempted from combatant service at an Oldham Tribunal, no date given, but this has not been found in the Oldham papers.

No certain match found in the 1911 census. There was a Joseph Wood living at 2 Bond Street, Oldham, a cotton spinner. He was aged 28 making him 2 years older than this man.
