"Private William Harrison, of one of the Manchester Pals Battalions, was killed on 1st July.

He resided at 16 Incline Road, Hollinwood, and enlisted on 10th February this year, previously working as a spinner at Victoria Mill, Hollinwood. He has a brother serving. Deceased was 24 years of age and unmarried. "
