Newspaper obituary:

" Private Thomas Arkwright (4695), Manchester Regiment, was killed in action in France on July 7th. He enlisted a little short of two years ago and had been in France about twelve months. Before he enlisted he worked as a jobber at the Featherstall Mill, Northmoor. He was a married man of 25 years of age and his home address was at 7 Adelaide Street, Oldham."
