"Official intimation has been received that Private Frank Madden (2596), Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, was killed in action on July 15th. He enlisted in August 1914, and was 20 years of age. He lived at 205 Horsedge Street, Oldham. Two of his brothers are serving in the Army. "
